TEP Birmingham Summer Party Brings Site Community Together

Share

TEP Birmingham was delighted to welcome over 100 tenants, colleagues and family members from businesses across the site to its Summer Party on Wednesday 22 July. The event provided a valuable opportunity for the growing TEP community to come together, strengthen relationships and celebrate the people and organisations contributing to the site’s success.

Guests enjoyed food prepared and served by National Gas Metering from its innovative Hydrogen Kitchen, demonstrating how hydrogen can provide a practical low-carbon alternative for cooking. The relaxed afternoon offered plenty of opportunities for colleagues from across the site to meet, share ideas and socialise. Music was played throughout the afternoon while guests enjoyed hot food, refreshments and games in the July sunshine.

The event was made possible thanks to the generous support of National Gas Metering, who test and develop their hydrogen demonstrator here at TEP Birmingham. We were also grateful for sponsorship from Voltempo, pioneers of tailored electric vehicle charging solutions for HGVs, and NatWest, following the recent launch of their Accelerator programme at the Energy Park. Their contributions helped create a welcoming and enjoyable afternoon for everyone involved, highlighting the value of collaboration and partnership that sits at the heart of TEP Birmingham and our wider ecosystem.

TEP Birmingham is home to a diverse and growing community of businesses working across clean energy, sustainable transport, advanced manufacturing and green technology. Events such as the Summer Party play an important role in bringing that community together, encouraging new connections and supporting future collaboration.

As the site continues to grow, these opportunities to come together become even more valuable. The innovation taking place at TEP Birmingham is powered not only by technology, but by the people, relationships and partnerships behind it. By creating space for conversations, community, and shared understand across the site, events like this strengthen the trust and collaboration that drive innovation across the wider TEP Birmingham ecosystem.

Thank you to all the tenants, colleagues and family members who attended and made the afternoon such a success. We look forward to welcoming tenants, partners, and local organisations to future events as we continue to grow our clean energy ecosystem and strengthen our connections across East Birmingham.
