Introducing: TEP Birmingham’s new brand

Our members may have noticed a new look for TEP Birmingham – or Tyseley Energy Park – appearing around site, on our marketing materials, and most noticeably on our brand new website.

This is because, as of this month, our rebrand is officially complete.

We’ve made a confident departure from our legacy Tyseley Energy Park house style, and transitioned into a clean, modern look that is synonymous with TEP Birmingham, and what we hope to achieve in the coming years.

A change in name accompanies this. Many know us as TEP anyway. So, we’ve made it official. It’s sleeker, punchier, and more aligned with our ambitious goals for the site.

Everything you need to know about the rebrand

Our members will begin to notice new signage around the site and facilities, as we move away from Tyseley Energy Park’s historic branding.

This is expected to complete by the end of spring 2026 and will encompass everything from the welcome tray sign at the entrance to the site, to smaller gate and reception signs.

You’ll also notice our shiny new website is now live. You can still expect the same great blog content and news articles from us, as well as our new quarterly newsletter, but you’ll find it much better presented. Clean and modern, just like our approach.

Accompanying the website will be a suite of updated marketing materials, so expect to see the new TEP Birmingham branding across all of our presentations, Teams backgrounds, email signatures, uniforms, and more from now on.

Why now?

With exciting innovations due to begin on the site very soon, and the vision for TEP Birmingham never clearer – now felt the ideal time to elevate our branding and bring it in line with what we’re delivering across our ecosystem.

Our vision is clear: over the next decade, TEP Birmingham aims to scale our innovation ecosystem into a world-leading model for clean growth, expanding partnerships across industry, academia, and government to deliver real-world impact.

The ambition is to unlock over £1 billion in economic value, drive inclusive job creation, and empower the West Midlands to lead the UK’s journey to net zero and a thriving green economy.

Though our story and legacy are unchanged, and Webster and Horsfall is still very much at the heart of our brand, we also recognise the evolution of TEP Birmingham to what it is today. A world-leading clean growth innovation ecosystem for delivering scalable, real-world solutions that unlock economic growth that is better for people and the planet.
